OUR STORY

Common Sound has been independently and collaboratively providing the tempo for a wide range of events and social functions since 2008.

From intimate back yard BBQs in London to world famous festivals in Brazil, our team of DJs have found themselves tailoring their acts to a full demographic of people looking to celebrate.

 

Common Sound now boasts a strong team of DJs with a variety of skills and experiences. We primarily serve the Interior of BC, however we do travel and we recently opened up a new international division servicing Mexico for the months of December through March.

 

We take enormous pride in our ability to read crowds. Whether in the club, at a wedding, or in a full arena, we have a keen ability to know what the people want. Which has given us the opportunity to play for over 1000+ weddings, 30+ grand openings and anniversaries (lulelemon, sephora, saje wellness, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Natures Fare to name a few), and a ton of other private events.

A lot of DJ companies claim to be the best or the most requested company in town which is frankly impossible to prove. And although we have been voted the best DJ company in town for years, what we take the most pride in is being on the preferred vendor list for the majority of the venues, photographers, videographers, and caterers in Kamloops BC. Which we appreciate and value as they are the ones who see hundreds of events a year.
