A little about us, our history and where we're going
About Common Sound
From intimate backyard BBQs in London to world-famous festivals in Brazil, our team of DJs have found themselves tailoring their acts to a full demographic of people looking to celebrate. Every year we average around 60 weddings, 30 Christmas parties, 20 galas & fundraisers, and 5 festivals. And we couldn't be luckier to do what we love.
Founded by Jesse Faubert & Iain McKee in 2008. We now boast a strong team of 7 DJs from around the world. We primarily serve the Interior of BC, however we do travel — and we recently opened up new international divisions servicing Mexico from December through March, and Southern Italy in July & August.

Our sister company Ninth Lab is a large-scale event company that hosts and produces events locally and around the world.
Locally you'll find us behind Rooftop Rollout, Hot Night in the City, Hoops in the Loops. This year we're excited to throw events in Bristol, London, Palermo, Cabo and a villa in Southern Italy.
